About PCC

Preschool Collaborative Class (PCC) is a program designed for preschool children enrolled in Early Education programs and children eligible for special education.  The staff includes Early Education Center personnel, a special education teacher and special education assistant.  Monday through Friday morning, 10 students eligible for special education are fully integrated into the morning program at the Center for four hours and half each day.  The content of the program is based on the District adopted preschool curriculum and stresses the facilitation of goals and objectives through developmentally appropriate concrete experiences and play.  The centers receive other special education support when it is required to help meet the particular needs of the enrolled children.
